The start of something new at The Music Man Singing Ice Cream Shoppe names Stephanie Langford 2023 Casting Director
LAVALLETTE, NJ – It may be cold, windy, and rainy at the Jersey Shore, but as we get closer to May, plans are being made to prepare for TMM 21st season. The first hire of 2023 is Stephanie Langford, newly promoted to Casting Director. “Although she is not returning to the main performing company this summer, sadly,” Aggie Roberts states, “Stephanie knows what it takes to assemble an amazing team, and for this, I am ecstatic that she is heading up this effort.”
No stranger to TMM, Stephanie began in the main performing company in 2018 to return in 2019 and 2021. In 2022 she helped conceive the Associate Performer Program, which will be returning in 2023 under a new name, Featured Performer Company.

The target number is eleven in the Main Performer Company and six in the Featured Performer Company. Stay tuned for who is returning from 2022! “It would be wonderful if everyone could return from 2022, as the growth of a performer really showcases in follow-up seasons. But it can be equally joyful when staff moves on to their next professional work,” Josephine Sessa-Agliata, Founder and Executive Producer of The Music Man. “You can rest assured that we are always asking those past performers to stripe up, sing and come home to visit us.”
